What to expect, and how we'll make decisions together
How I work

A treatment approach tailored to you
There’s no one-size-fits-all approach to treatment.
I’ll start by understanding what’s bothering you, how it’s affecting everyday life and what you’d like to get back to. I’ll then assess how you’re moving and explain what I think is going on.
Treatment may include
• Gentle low-force techniques such as Activator and SOT
• Soft tissue therapy including massage and dry needling, cupping
• Exercise and rehabilitation advice
• Lifestyle and ergonomic advice
I’ll explain the options and we’ll agree an approach that’s appropriate for you and that you’re comfortable with.
Helping you beyond the appointment
Hands-on treatment is only one part of what I do.
Where it’s useful, I’ll give you simple exercises or movement advice to help improve mobility, build confidence and support your recovery.
I try to keep this practical and achievable so it fits into everyday life rather than giving you a long list of complicated exercises.

Your treatment plan
I’ll explain what I think may help, how often I’d recommend seeing you and what you can do yourself between appointments.
There are no fixed treatment packages and no pressure to book a set number of appointments. As things improve, the aim is to reduce treatment and help you get back to managing normally.
If I don’t think chiropractic care is appropriate, I’ll tell you and help guide you towards the right next step.
